Memorials and Acknowledgements
Brain Care Centre regularly informs people that, as a federally registered charitable organization, any donated cash/cheques or goods received are issued charitable tax receipts*. We do this through our brochure, when people become members, and through the quarterly Brain Care Centre News. Donations are very welcome. Every month roughly two thousand dollars of support is received, through the daily mail or as VISA, MasterCard and American Express contributions over the phone.
*Unfortunately, federal regulations governing charitable receipting do not allow Brain Care Centre to issue receipts for donations of service to the organization.
Sometimes support is received at Brain Care Centre in memorial recognition of a loved one, or increasingly, to celebrate an occasion – anniversary, wedding, or as a birthday or Christmas gift. Special memorial envelopes are available by calling Louise Jensen at (780) 477-7575. If Louise is absent ask Barb. Many funeral homes in Edmonton already carry Brain Care Centre envelopes.
