Realize the Impact on the Community
Award-winning Edmonton Journal Columnist
June 3, 2011- Sutton Place Hotel, Edmonton
Breakfast Start: 7 AM Ticket Price $45 Table of 10 $400
For thousands of Edmontonians, the morning just doesn’t start until they’ve checked out the latest column or blog post from Paula Simons. Always opinionated, usually provocative, often quite funny, Paula never fails to get our city talking — and to get us engaged in discussing the issues that matter most in our community. If you enjoy starting your day with Paula Simons, here’s your chance to share your coffee and eggs with her in real life, at the Brain Care Centre’s fund-raising breakfast. A graduate of the University of Alberta and Stanford University, and winner of five National Newspaper Award citations of merit, Paula has also been recognized by the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre, and Canada’s Governor-General for her work championing civil liberties and inclusive communities. Join her as she brings her passion, her courage, and her wit to her discussion of brain injury, the invisible disability - and the toll it takes on our entire society.
